FEDERICO HOLM, Ph.D.
I’m a Clean Energy Policy Analyst at the Center for Progressive Reform. Previously, I had Postdoctoral Research appointments at the Department of Human Dimensions of Natural Resources at Colorado State University, and the School for Environment and Sustainability at the University of Michigan. I received my Ph.D. from the School of Environment and Natural Resources at the Ohio State University, specializing in Environmental Social Sciences. My research interests go beyond the study of climate and energy, and are centered around the study of climate change and energy governance, social-ecological systems -such as wildfires and invasive species-, and energy democracy. My current research projects apply quantitative and qualitative tools to the study of wildfire adaptation in the face of climate change, climate and energy policy development and implementation in the United States (energy democracy, IRA, CBAs), nitrate well water contamination, and aquatic invasive species management in the Great Lakes.
